Ever since I was a little girl I have enjoyed helping others and I have always went out of my way to be there for anyone that needed me. I believe teachers should also enjoy helping others and always go out of their way to be there for their students. When I was in elementary school I did not want to go to school because I did not want to leave the comfort of my home. However, I was lucky to have teachers that were welcoming and made me feel at home at school. My teachers let me know that they loved me and were there for me if I was ever having a bad day, or just needed someone to talk to. These teachers made an impact on my life and I learned to love school, and still do to this day. I choose to become an educator because I want to impact the lives of children just like my teachers did mine. I want to show students that learning is fun and there are many different ways to learn. I want students to be excited to go to school and enjoy learning just as much as I do.
