Digital storytelling is where you take a linear series of events and turn them into a multidimensional experience. You can use audio, music, video, and still images. Digital storytelling can be used with any subject, and it allows students to communicate and collaborate. Digital storytelling allows students  to speak their minds and it also help improve their communication skills. Creativity and critical thinking are also used in digital storytelling. Students creativity is allowed to wonder because their resources are limitless. There are many free apps available for digital storytelling for teachers and students to use. A few are My Story, Toontastic, Book Creator, Telestory, and Pic Collage.
